Polestar Farm is a 12-acre property situated at the mouth of the Capay Valley in Esparto, CA. They are a family-owned, certified-organic operation with apricots (fresh and dried) and peaches as their primary crops.

Jim and Karina Knight bought the property in 2018 not knowing the amazing bounty it had to offer. Once this realization settled in, and although they both have kept their “day jobs” - Jim is an elementary school principal and Karina is a marriage and family therapist - they made it their mission to nurture the trees and soil - to bring it back to the healthy land it was in its prime. As they are loving the land, it is thanking them by producing amazing fruit. In their third year, they planted over 200 new fruit trees of mixed varieties and strawberries, and are working on creating a beautiful venue for visitors to the Capay Valley.

Jim and Karina named their farm Polestar after the North Star, the guiding light. Their motto is “Find your path, enjoy the journey”. Their mission is to share their bounty - their produce, their space, their love.

Along with selling their fruit through Capay Valley Farm Shop, you may also find it at their farm stand, the Natomas Farmers Market, and the Farm Stop in Esparto.
