“I am so enjoying my weekly bushel of veggies these past 3 weeks – in particular the first batch of broccoli was the best I have tasted in years. And yesterday’s red cabbage was so beautiful to look at, I thought I should haul out my camera to commemorate its arrival in my kitchen. In general, I am enjoying trying out new veggies and the wide variety – a peck would probably be more practical, but I like the bushel variety. I find myself checking out Deborah Madison’s cookbooks in advance to decide how to prepare the week’s bounty. Thank you for what you do.”
