Gold Oak Ranch

Welcome to Gold Oak Ranch, our family-run farming operation featuring certified organic mandarin oranges and asparagus, walnuts, almonds, and now gold-medal winning Leccino extra virgin olive oil! We are located in California’s beautiful Capay Valley, nestled against the soaring Blue Cliffs and wild and scenic Cache Creek.

We’ve been farming together for over 40 years. David hails from a long line of farmers and has been active in the evolution of  organic production and sustainable agriculture techniques. In addition to his work on the farm, he is also active in the community, having served as director of the Yolo County Flood Control District and as a founding member of Capay Valley Vision. Ann is also an expert in her own right. She is the author of A Guidebook to California Agriculture and the soon to be releasedValley Empires. Our daughter, Rachel, a practicing physician, publishes our ranch blog.
