Ingredients
2-3 cups snow peas or sugar snap peas
Tamari
Rice wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, crushed (or leaves of 1 green garlic stalk, chopped)
Peppercorns
Salt
Preparation
Heat 1 Tbs. sesame oil and 1 Tbs. cooking oil in a large frying pan. Add 2-3 cups sugar snap or snow peas to the pan and stir and turn peas for no more than 30 seconds over very high heat. Turn out into a bowl. Add ¼ c tamari, ¼ c rice wine vinegar (or 3 Tb. Regular vinegar), 1 t. salt, 2 Tb. chopped garlic leaves (or a small clove garlic, crushed) and ½ t. Szechuan peppercorns, crushed, if available. Chill.
