We currently serve the San Francisco Bay Area through public and private pick-up sites. Our public sites include: San Francisco Avedano's and Cheese Plus, Palo Alto Calafia Cafe, Redwood City The Movie Groove and Grind.

Steamed Turnips

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch (try Tokyos or Purple Tops)
  • Extra Virgin – we recommend Taber Ranch or Capay Oaks
  • Salt

Preparation

Place the peeled, whole turnips in a steamer. Cook for 15-25 minutes. This short cooking time works for smaller turnips. For larger turnips, quarter or cut into large dices before steaming. Turnips are done when they’re tender to your liking. Toss with olive oil and salt and enjoy instead of potatoes!
