Green Beans with EVOO
½ pound green beans
olive oil (or butter)
salt
Trim the stems off the beans, and slice into 1-2 inch pieces. Boil in water until just cooked (check at 5 minutes), be careful not to overcook. Drain and place beans on a plate. Toss with EVOO/butter, sprinkle with salt.
